PROJECT (due 9/7): Celebrate 60th Anniversary of Lego Brick (Be in a Movie!)

Well, kinda be in a movie...

Next year, on January 28th, we’re going to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the LEGO® brick with a special film.
This film won't just be celebrating 60 years of the LEGO brick, but celebrating the rich history we’ve all shared through creative play.
That’s why we want this film to include real family photos, featuring children playing with LEGO bricks across the decades.
So we need your help.
We’d love it if you could raid your old family albums for any photos of your children, your grandchildren, or even yourself as a child playing with LEGO bricks.
You may not recognise him here, but our VP Portfolio Innovation & Creativity, Matthew James Ashton, has kindly offered up the first photo as inspiration. We need lots more photos like this to make this film the best it can possibly be.
Please send your photos to and include an approximate date it was taken and your nationality. The last date for sending photos is 7th September 2017.
We can’t guarantee every photo will make it into the final film, but we hugely appreciate the time you’ve taken to help us make this LEGO anniversary celebration our best yet.
Thank you, we look forward to seeing your photos!
[By participating in the 60th Brick anniversary campaign you hereby consent to the LEGO Group using your personal photo for marketing purposes in all markets and on all platforms without any limitation for free. You warrant that the rights to the photo is yours and not owned by any third party e.g. a photographer, marketing agency etc. The use of your photo will be governed under the LEGO Group Privacy Policy which you can read here]
